Alyssa B. Cromer is a published and certified photographer based in Virginia Beach. Known for her artistic eye and attention to detail, Alyssa brings a personal touch to every session, from portraits to events. Her passion lies in creating timeless images that tell your unique story.

When she’s not behind the camera, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their beloved cat, J. Coal. She also loves spending time at the beach, writing, and painting. Whether she’s working or relaxing, Alyssa’s goal is always to connect with people and celebrate the moments that matter most.

  • It’s so inspiring to me to watch someone’s confidence build after a photography session. Most people are really shy of the camera, including myself. The drink helps!

  • Many people feel uncomfortable having their picture taken (so if you feel shy you're not alone!). I believe photography sessions should feel fun and relaxed so your energy shines through in the photos! Plus it makes for a great date night idea! Some people either drink during the session or take it home with them to drink later.

    There's no pressure to accept it if you cannot drink. Just let me know what you like and we can find an alternative. It's just my way to say thank you for booking with me!

  • Yes! We can rent a studio and include the fee in the total cost as it is dependent on the studio.

    Prefer an in-home session? I can bring the setup to you for a $50 fee to cover travel, setup, and breakdown.

  • Yes! If you didn’t find a package that aligns with what you need, I’d be more than happy to work with you still. Just schedule a consultation (it’s free!) and I’ll get back to you asap!

  • I believe in a quick turnaround time so your photos will be ready within one week of the session if not sooner!

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and reserve the time and resources needed for your project. This deposit ensures commitment from both sides and allows us to plan and prepare fully, so we can deliver the best possible experience. Thank you for your understanding!

  • Life happens— I get it! If you cannot make the initially scheduled appointment, the deposit will carry over to the rescheduled appointment. Any additional reschedules after the 1st one, a new 50% deposit will be required.

  • If you are located anywhere in the Hampton Roads area, I do not charge for travel. If you are located elsewhere, we can connect on a custom cost to cover travel fees.
